IT firms reboot fresher hiring, but experienced pros hold upper hand

Fresher hiring, which fell to a record low of around 110,000 in FY26, will reach 115,000 to 135,000 this fiscal year, according to recruitment firm Quess Group’s estimates. This marks a likely increase of 4.5-22.7%.
