What this site is

An index of technology and security news. It shows a headline, a short extract where the publisher permits one, and a link to the publisher’s own page. The article itself always belongs to, and is read at, the publisher.

Who owns what

Headlines and extracts belong to the publishers who wrote them and are shown under the terms each one allows; a publisher that permits only a headline gets only a headline. The grouping, ranking and scoring are ours. Security data is used under the licences listed on sources, and each licence’s notice is reproduced where its data appears.

Using it

Read it, link to it, and use the feeds and the API for your own reading or research. Do not use it to reproduce publishers’ work wholesale, and do not hammer the API — the rate limit tells you when you are going too fast, and it exists so that everyone else can read too.

What we promise

Nothing beyond our best effort. Feeds break, publishers move URLs, scores are computed from published signals and can be wrong. Nothing here is security advice: check a vulnerability against the vendor’s own advisory before acting on it. The site is offered as it is, without warranty, and we are not liable for what you do with what you read here.

Corrections and removal

If something is wrong, tell us and we will correct it. Publishers who would rather not appear can say so in robots.txt or write to us — see for publishers. We act on those requests; we do not argue about them.

These terms may change as the site does. The current version is always the one on this page.
