Sony fought back after homebrew developers overcame the security protections of July PS5 firmware. The Prolapse jailbreak was a hopeful solution for software updates 14.00 and 14.10. However, the memory management exploit has hit a dead end, as 14.20 and 14.22 also remain elusive.
