Vingroup to build a €449-million EV plant in the Philippines

In an effort to strengthen its footprint in the Southeast Asian auto market, Vingroup - the parent company of VinFast plans to build a new EV manufacturing facility in the Philippines. The Vietnamese conglomerate will invest US$500 million (approx. €449 million euros) in the new site.
