Final Fantasy XIV offers free subscription time after critical PHP vulnerability prompts worldwide login suspension
Square Enix is compensating eligible Final Fantasy XIV subscribers after a critical PHP vulnerability prompted the company to suspend new logins worldwide for approximately one day. The publisher has also confirmed that new logins and the server backup feature have since been restored.
