CMS freezes new ACA broker registrations for 2027, culls ‘unauthorized’ enrollees

The agency said the pause would help crack down on what it says is fraud among new brokers on the exchanges. It also announced on Tuesday it would cancel the enrollments of more than 760,000 people.
